My Story
Hi, I’m Daniel. I run Vintage Casio Restore, a one–man project dedicated to saving old Casio digital watches. What started as a hobby grew into a passion for restoring these classics from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s.
I repair cases, polish crystals, bring back sound, and make them wearable again. Each project is documented step by step and shared online. My goal is to keep Casio’s history alive and show others how much fun restoration can be.
From Hobby to Online Project
Most restorations begin with cleaning and polishing, but many need more than that. Cracked resin cases have to be rebuilt, faded text needs repainting, and broken buzzers often mean sourcing tiny springs. Each job comes with its own problems to solve.
I started documenting the process online — first with photos, then full before-and-after breakdowns. Now the project has grown into a small archive of restorations and practical tips for anyone interested.
